The Petsitters

I, like most people, hate to leave my pets in the hands of another person when I am unable to care for them myself, for whatever reason. Fear takes over and I think the worst will happen. Afterall, nobody knows the idiosyncroses of my 2 cats. A friend recommended Elaine when I was recently hospitalized. In fact, several of my friends used her services. She took an enormous weight off my shoulders and I could just concentrate on getting well. I had to change her schedule several times and she was completely flexible. She quickly figured out my cats peculiarities and even devised a system of hanging warm sheets in my doorways to cut down on the cold drafts in my apartment. My kitties were kept warm and I was amazed at her ingenuity. I came home to relaxed, happy cats! I would highly recommend Elaine to any pet owner. She's kind, caring, flexible and extremely knowledgable.

I have known Elaine and The Petsitters for over 5 years now. She takes fabulous care of my cats and of my home when I leave town and I COMPLETELY trust her. She knows a lot about animals and has been in the business for years and years. She has a love of animals and is very sincere in her care for animals. She can handle any situation that arises. I never worry when I leave on vacation and I always come home to a 1-2 page handwritten note advising how everything went while I was away. She brings in the mail, takes out the trash, waters the yard and any house plants. Truly an awesome service and worth every penny!

I called this client for 2 reasons; I have a good friend who needed a good place for 3 of his dogs, but she hung up on me because I didn't know the right questions to ask.

Elaine at the Petsitters is the most capable and trustworthy pet-care person I have ever known--and I have had two cats, one of whom lived to 24 years old. All through, I could rely on Elaine to take excellent care of them. I would come home from trips, sometimes quite long ones, and the cats barely looked at me: that's how calm and well cared for they felt. Elaine can give fluids and pills and shots; she can deal with old animals as well as young. You can trust her with your pets, your houseplants, your mail: She will keep your household together while you are away. You can give her your key and go off without worries. And she is pleasure to deal with, a wonderful, warm person. I simply can't express the gratitude I feel towards her for all the kind work she has done on my behalf and on behalf of my cats.
