The New Wheel was founded in 2010 by Brett Thurber after graduating from the History Department at UC Berkeley.The mission of The New Wheel is to jump start the adoption of transportation alternatives in San Francisco and beyond by promoting elegant, practical, useful, and environmentally sustainable electric bicycles.

We sell the highest quality electric bicycles available today. We sell bikes by OHM Cycles, Kettler, Kalkhoff, Focus, and Bionx. We provide a free lifetime service package, 12 month 0% interest financing, and a free City Carshare membership with each bike.
