Smith & Baltaxe, LLP was founded by Bernie Baltaxe and Byron Smith in 2006. Both attorneys were practicing in the workers' compensation field for about 10 years before they merged. The firm was founded on the principle that each injure employee should have an accessibly and knowledgeable advocate to protect their rights.
