Every bride expects perfection on her special day and I was no different but with me was even a more special day because I was lucky enough to have found Sue!
She really made feel like a princess, delivering a very beautiful up hairdo and most of all making me feel very secure and relaxed even when time was getting very short!
I have no words to explain how happy she made me!!

i don't usually write reviews, but I was compelled to do so because Suad is incredible. Not only is she an outstanding hair stylist, she is also very warm and pleasant. I would highly recommend her.

I have been going every six months to a year for the past three years for a haircut and to retouch my highlights. Suad always does an outstanding job on my hair and I have only been going to her for my hair. I always receive compliments on my hair and it is all thanks to Suad and her great works. My uncle has also been going to her for eight years now and only goes to her as well. We get our hair done together and leave very satisfied. She's always puts her best work and you will always love the outcome.

Suad is a perfectionist! I have never experienced such a high level of care and attention to detail given to a Men’s cut and the results show it. I have always attended high-end salons but had no idea what I was missing. A friend recommended Suad during my visit to San Francisco and I cannot thank her enough. I would like to pass on my own recommendation. Should you be lucky enough to book an appointment, you will receive a proper haircut from a trained stylist who takes her work seriously. Having my hair cut by Suad last week made me think I was back in London and Vidal Sassoon was standing behind my chair. She is terrific, the cost is reasonable, and better than some New York salons at 4 times the price.

Having been going to Suads salon for more than a year I am always very very satisfied. She is very detail oriented, and provides a great cut and style at a very reasonable price! Aside, she is very sweet making the overall experience very comfortable and enjoyable.

WONDERFUL. Saud is an artist with hair. I got the best cut & foil I have ever had. I came down to SF for a little vacation & what better way then to get the best haircut of my life ! Saud is sweet, attentive & an artist with scissors. I am definitely coming back though I don't live in SF anymore, she is worth the trip.

I was there last week on a business trip. They recommended Suad at the hotel I was staying (St. Francis) and they were right. I have curly, relaxed, thick hair and a lot of it and she managed it like a real pro. Trust me, not that many stylists get it, and she left my hair soft a perfect. Also, she's very sweet and her prices are very reasonable.

Suad Hastings-Spaine is an accomplished, remarkable, and wonderful hair stylist. She has impressive credentials and has spent a lifetime creating magic with hair. Whether it's highlighting, color, or haircuts, Suad has the unique ability to transform hair to the best it can be. My hair is curly and has a lot of wiry pieces and frizz in it, but after an appointment with Suad, it is beautiful and sleek. I have gone to Suad for 5 years and wouldn't dream of going to anyone else.

Let me give you a bit of background about my hair, it's frizzy, dry and brassy.



I was traveling from Florida to the Frisco area and arrived unfinished for an important client meeting. In desperation I asked the concierge at the Hilton where to go and she recommended Suad's. Well, not only is Suad a sweet stylist but she stayed late and don't be fooled this woman is a magician. She transformed my hair into this glossy and smooth gorgeously colored hair. And the next morning when I woke it still looked great, even till the end of the day. WOW! Her credentials are impressive as well but she is so modest. I was so lucky to get such a super designer because like so many other attempts made other hair specialist this could have been a huge mistake. I wish I could take Saud home with me to Florida, I wish there were more stylists like her.

I just came from having the most fabalous hair color, I can't beleive my hair could be transformed into such a glamarous look, but Suad worked magic!

I had been coloring my hair myself, and it would look good for about one week, then the dryness, blah color soon came back.

Suad spent nearly 3 hours, starting with a corrective color process. Believe me, it was worth it! My color looks so rich, glossy and the texture is the best it has been in a deade!

Suad is a very professional, articulate hairdresser. Whenever classes for professional hairdressers are held to advise them of new upcoming trends, Suad always attends to learn the latest techniques. She was trained at the Vidal Sasson Salon in London, specializing in color, highlights, precision cuts and updos. My hair has turned white with a few brunette spots scattered here and there. I asked Suad to put more brunette color in my hair, but to leave some of the white. Consequently, she gave me "reverse" highlights. I've had many friends and even strangers compliment me on my hair style and color and I have Suad to thank. She is the best and I recommend her highly.

If you’re even thinking of going to Yosh Gina Khan Salon or diPietro Todd you owe it to yourself to try Suad first, she’s the only stylist who has ever got my cut and color exactly the way I want it on the first try (and I have lousy hair, I’m never happy with it)! She does all hair types and has been a stylist for many years which means she’s very experienced and knowledgeable and there’s probably nothing she hasn’t seen or done. She also continues to take advanced courses to stay up-to-date on current trends. I’m so glad I found her – I’m definitely going to be a regular!

As a slightly older man who is particular about his hair and appearance, I have been searching for sometime for a stylist who can cut my hair well. I finally found Suad who did an excellent.job. Suad takes her time and really knows what she is doiing. After talking with her and having her cut my hair, it is obvious that her years of experience and training, including in London, have served her well. i recommend her highly and will post another review after my second cut.

Suad is an amazing colorist! Her years of experience in hair coloring surpasses any other hairstylist that I have been to. Suad has an upper edge with her european training and knowledge of customizing color. I had years of overprocessed hair and Suad was able to repair the damage as well as give me the color I have always wanted. I would recommend her to those looking for quality service.

Suad is an unbelievable stylist. I'd neglected my hair for a while --- my auburn had turned brassy, roots showing. Within hours she had me looking fabulous with highlights and silky smooth locks. Suad trained in UK with Vidal Sasson and is an expert colorist. Her work rivals that of other master "Maiden Lane" hairdressers minus exorbitant pricing and diva attitudes. She's easy to talk to and gives really good advice on hair care. Be sure to call in advance for a consultation or appointment as she's typically works late afternoons.

Suad Hastings-Spaine is the best hair styliest I have every gone to. I am 64 years old and have gray, unmanageable, coarse, and frizzy hair. Suad colors my hair and styles it so that it looks full, and silky-smooth when I leave the hair salon. I feel like a movie star when I walk out of the salon.

I have been gong to Suad for 5 months now and want to rave about the new improved self image I have re: Suad's

creative and skilled work on my curly,coarse hair and I a man over 50 . Her use of several types of scissors and

a straight razor" are used very gently and slowly with so much care and she takes her time. You feel very cared about

as she "listens" to all your concerns and suggestions. Suad made me look great and "younger" with several different

haircuts with, one of them being at my suggestion something a bit more daring for a planned vacation. Her fun sense of humor

and warmth are additional qualities that will make you feel extra comfortable. Looking forward to seeing your positive

I wish to rave about Suad Hastings-Spaine, an amazing stylist, working at HBR Studio. She is trained in London and although her specialty is color, she can do all the processes--perms, straightening, cuts--whatever is best for the client. She also has experience with different kinds of hair and knows exactly what to do for each individual. Suad is truly the most accomplished hairdresser I've ever met and an asset to San Francisco's Union Square. She is my beauty secret!
