Cafe Algiers

The staff at Cafe Algeies are very friendly. They make really yummy sandwiches for ~$5 and a great coffee and latees that are much cheaper than Starbucks (I'd compare the coffee quality to Peet's).



There's only one downside to Cafe Algiers, they not a hidden gem. Everybody knows it's a fabulous place to get a sandwich, so expect a line from 11:30am onwards - but it's worth the wait!

I work a block away and must frequent Cafe Algiers 3 times (at least) a week...and I'll keep coming back because even when the line extends out the door, I know I'm only 15 minutes away from a well portioned, deliciously simple sandwich for under $5 dollars. But most days, I can make a run to Algiers and be back at my desk (:() in 10 minutes.



My favorites are Turkey & Avocado on ciabatta w/ cucumbers and Chicken Salad w/ pickles on ciabatta. The staff are very friendly and efficient!
