        I have been a temp for many years. I was treated well in the beginning. They did try to get me a job and after awhile a just became another temp in their database.

        Dear LLDCNJ48, I'm very sorry that we we unable to help you in your job search. Sadly, the economic downturn has affected our business and, although it has gotten a bit better, the number of open temporary and permanent positions that we receive is still well below our goals. As a result, our internal staff has also been reduced. We are working hard to try to put more people to work and/or to provide additional resources for employment. I hope by now that you have landed a great job, but please don't hesitate to touch base periodically if you are still available. There is no way to predict the future, LLDCNJ48, but we do take our work seriously and feel bad when we can't be at least of some small help.         They really DO care!

        I signed up with at least 10 staffing firms, including two on the first page of this Yellow pages.com search. Except for at TLC, I was treated like a number at best, and in one case as a complete nuisance. It was like they couldnt wait to get me out of there.



        Even though TLC did not have a job for me right away they treated me with respect and gave me a few pointers as to how to magnify my search and they helped me explore other positions that I didn't think I was qualified for.



        I'm now working on a project position at a large financial firm that might go permanent, but frankly, I'm not sure I want to go permanent. I might like this temping thing so that I can continue to meet new people and develop new skills.



        I hightly recommend including TLC Staffing in your search. Call David at the front desk and tell him Mary sent you. He'll hook you up with the right recruiter for your search. Colleen is my recruiter - she's super!



        If you are out of work - hang in there! I think things are getting better and your next job mught be right around the corner.

        Quality Management Systems

        TLC's employees are very professional and know their customers! I was impressed by the fact that they do their own testing on-site to screen applicants and to get a better feel for how well the applicant might match a position. Also, their staff is very active in outreach and charity work in the local community, which means something to me. Not only do they spend their valuable time helping find applicants, they help applicants by their good deeds and investing more of their own time and money. A well run organization with an strong emphasis on knowing me, their customer, and I would suggest giving them a try for any critical staffing needs. -Gary
