Killer place in the gaslamp. Great atmosphere and awesome service. The drinks are ice cold and the food is absolutely delicious. The fish tacos were some of the best that I've had. Lots of TVs and would make a good place to watch the game.

Unique!!

This is a great place to eat, drink and shoot pool. This is one of the few places in San Diego where you can take your teenagers in and watch a game on one of the many TV's while enjoying some great food. The only reason it didn't get five stars is because their days of operation are a bit limited. Call before going downtown! It is located enough on the cusp of the club and restaurant area that even parking is comparitively easy!

General Info: The Local Downtown is a breath of fresh air and truly a place for anyone. Holding strong to its San Diego roots , The Local showcases all that is great about America's Finest City, and then some. With 42 beers on tap and an array of rotating drafts, there is something for every type of beer drinker. The grub menu is a selection of Californian favorites with cheeky names like Big A$$ Nachos and the Big Wet Burrito. Obviously, the portions are huge, but luckily, the prices are not. The Local Downtown is like your favorite sweatshirt, offering a level of comfort and design that never goes out of style.
