San Diego Smile Dentistry

The best general dentist and cosmetic dentist in San Diego. My implants and crowns and root canals and veneers and Invisalign and clear correct aligner trays and fillings were all done and completely pain free. You might think I'm biased but it's the truth! Don't take my word for it look at everyone else's reviews on Yelp and Google. Dr. Fred is that good!

I haven't had dental insurance for some a few years now. I recently had a tooth that exploded in pain and needed to be pulled..SD Smile was able to get me in same day and get that horrible thing pulled out of my head....on a Saturday...as far as i know about dentists, that doesn't happen. My family Dentist that i had been going to most of my life( i had seriously been going to him for 25 years) couldn't "fit" me in on a Saturday.



SD Smile were great and prompt and very efficient...i checked in using an iPad!!!! totally awesome!!!, i watched Family guy until the dentist was able to see me, they served hot tea which helped the pain, very nice, efficient...I can't say enough good things about this place. It probably took 30 mins in the office to get my tooth out..start to finish...and that wasn't cause i was the only client..i think i was the 4th tooth pull that day.. BTW, did i say an emergency call, on a Saturday..



bottom line...I FOUND MY NEW DENTIST!!!!! and i'm stoked on it..full exam, cleaning, and x-rays next time..

This was a beautiful office and the staff stood by their motto: "Painless, Prompt, and Personable." I've been to many different dentists and this place stood above and beyond the rest. I feel weird saying this, but I actually really enjoyed my experience. It was kind of like going to a spa...I felt better afterwards than I did before!

I've been afraid of the Dentist my entire life due to bad experiences as a child and adult until now. This is a brand new office with a brand new philosophy. They're painless and on time! I have a terrible mouth and needed a root canal due to a severe infection. First of all let me say this office is gorgeous! It is a luxury office tucked away in the Balboa Office Building. This suite alone probably raised the value of the entire building!! When I first got there the staff offered me a variety of tea and snacks. They were genuinly warm and caring. After filling out the standard paper work which was actually kind of cool because I filled everything out on an ipad, the Doctor, Fred Harandi, saw me immediatley and addressed all my concerns. I told him I was scared to death of Dentistry and very sensitive and in a lot of pain and he assured me it would be pain free. He is a really likeable guy but I was apprehensive at this point. He gave me the option of taking laughing gas so I chose that option and it made the entire experience cool believe it or not! The room is painted sky blue so I literally felt like I was in the clouds during the procedure and it was pain free after all!

This dentist must have skills others don't because I seriously didn't feel a thing. Even the injection was completely pain free because he uses a special machine where you don't feel a thing!



I chose to write this review directly after my appointment because this visit made my day. If you hate seeing the dentist or are afraid of the damage it will do to your wallet, go see Fred and his staff right away!
