Sam Barber Shop

Was looking for a Barber shop on a Sunday and found this little place. They were pretty busy. But got my Son in quickly. They had 8 barbers working. Wendy was great!! Definitely bringing my Son back. Good prices too & service

Been coming here for 8 years...I luuuurve the way clippers feel as it is...THIS place takes it up a notch. However...OMG. Check this out. Wait for it. Wait for it. They've got a vacuum hose attached to the clippers. I can't tell you how many times I fell asleep in the barber's chair thanks to those clippers! So Sam and the rest of her peeps are and has always been super duper friendly. She does a killer fade... (refer to attached photo). They have all buzz cuts down packed. Need a fade? Buzz? Trim? Go. Fo real. Go now.

The customer service here is pretty good. The upside to this place is that they use "vaccume" style cutting apparatus that sucks your hair and doesn't get all over your clothes.

I have been coming to Sam's barber shop for over half a decade. I love Sam and her family. They are humble and try always to make you feel comfortable. My haircuts are spot on and makes me feel 20 years younger. If you want to check out Sam's...tell them Allen sent you!!

I love this place! Cheap hair cuts and they do a fantastic job. I love that each trimmer is hooked up to a vacuum, so I never have to deal with hair all over my shirt and neck afterwards. The owner is great! She made me feel welcomed, and even gave me some traveling tips. I would recommend this place 10 times out of 10!

5 Stars for their great haircuts, they are open til 9pm including Sunday's and before your hair is cut you pick a picture from the wall so that you and the barber know what you are going to get, this way no misunderstandings.

1st time here ,my son needed a cut before schools starts .he liked the vacuums with haircut ! Placed was packed thought it would take for ever but it didn't ! Will definitely be coming back!

The lady in the first chair was amazing I didn't know what I want so I talked to her for a bit then she had a idea of some what I wanted, she started to cut my hair and when she was finish it look awesome! Will definitely be coming back here again!!! 5/5 stars!

In spite of living in Mira Mesa, i always drive to Sam's barber shop to get my haircut done with Tan. He is so professional and the only one i trust at this hair salon. My sister is also his customer too.

Sam's Barber Shop is a place where you can go to get your haircut where the people are super friendly and they are willing to do any changes that you need to your hair I've been going there since I've been 7 years old I am 16 and they are great

This review is long overdue. I've been a loyal customer to Sam's barbershop far back as 2008 when they were located at a previous location. Duy's mom use to cut my hair then and I was still in the Navy. I use to always get 'Outstandings' on my uniform inspections from her perfect haircuts and I never had issues with razor bumps because she always keeps her equipment clean. It was around this time her son, Duy, started to come to the shop and started cutting hair. He cut my hair multiple times back then and I was always satisfied and never had any razor bumps. Since then, my family moved due to military obligations and we recently returned to San Diego. I started venturing around town to find a barber and was happy to see Sam's still open and both Duy and his mom still active in the shop. The cut Duy gave me was nothing less than phenomenal. He has exceeded my expectations and has progressed amazingly. The shop does not do line ups with a straight razor, however, you could never tell he didn't use a straight razor to line up my hair and beard. I'm looking forward to Duy cutting both my hair and my son's hair while we are in San Diego. I will not venture elsewhere.
