TRACON Pharmaceuticals, Inc is a biopharmaceutical company that licenses, develops, and commercializes targeted therapies for cancer and age-related macular degeneration. In an effort to reduce the expense and risk inherent in internal drug discovery programs, the TRACON business model is to acquire exclusive worldwide rights to drug candidates that have a promising scientific and commercial rationale. We then use our development and commercial expertise to advance these molecules through the drug development process with the goal of global marketing authorization.
