Hyundai Painting

Hyundai Painting was an extremely poor choice. My experience was much the same as the last review. Work was sloppy, uncompleted, and things were taken without permission. He did not honor his quote and never finished the job. I was over charged.. He is impossible to talk with, or reason with. Walks off the job , doesn't reply to calls or emails.. He threatened me . He said" Pay what he wants or else"!!!!! If you hire him for any job plan to pay someone to clean up after him and finish the job he starts. Doesn't show up, works short time.. went way over time estimate and never finished. BEWARE he is not to be trusted. The other review is spot on about this painter. "BAD CHOICE" Look for another... Don’t ever do business with Hyundai Painting at 7950 Silverton Ave. In Jan of 2011 we were planning a move, so we hired them to paint the inside of our house and install new sinks in our 3 bathrooms and kitchen. The painting job was really sloppy around the baseboards and they installed the baseboards too close to the floor for the carpeting guy to put new carpets in. They also left a big place on the bedroom wall with only one coat of paint, while all the other walls had 2 coats. After they finished installing the sinks, the plumbing in 2 bathrooms and the kitchen leaked. We had to call them back twice and after they were paid, we realized our kitchen sink STILL leaked and the faucet wouldn’t rotate. They didn’t respond to our phone calls after we paid them. All of this was in addition to the theft of a new roll of stamps ($44) – in a small $10 stamp holder - by one of the workers. I know this because I am a very organized office person and noticed they had been taken within an hour of their departure. The owner said that if I didn’t find the stamps after we moved, that he would “send me the money”. After we moved, I wrote him a letter that he received in April 2011 – saying that my stamps were still missing - but I received NO response. Hire these people at your own risk – I discovered the hard way that they have no integrity.
