Arthur Murray Dance Studio San Diego

We had a blast learning to do the dances purchased with living social coupon. We were asked to purchase additional lessons. There was no high pressure to do so. We had a wonderful time, lots of fun!! We learned some basics which were very helpful.

Can't say enough great things about this place. Everyone there is extremely nice, fun, and patient. Do they hard sale yes but they give you time to think about it. If you truly love to dance it's worth every dime. Elliot is my main instructor and he's awesome. I have had 2 other instructors Michael and Janine and they are just as great. My son is 12 and just started lessons and really enjoys the private and group lessons. I highly recommend this place!!!

Most of the instructors are very nice and are genuinely interested in you learning the correct dance moves. They really do make newcomers feel welcome and help novice dancers learn moves that are in their skill level. The instructors are also very good themselves and can show you different styles to learn if you buy a bigger package of lessons. Overall, the staff is AM's number one asset and they really are nice to learn from

My fiance and I wanted to learn a few steps for our upcoming wedding and they did an amazing job transforming us from clumsy dancers, into albeit not amazing dancers, but much better then we were when we started! Our first dance went well and we are very glad we took a few lessons!



It is also very nice how they will let you come to the studio at any time when they are open to practice, even if you are not scheduled for a lesson that day!

Matt Carr is enthusiastic, fun, and makes dancing enjoyable. Even for people that have no experience like myself he doesn't put you down and builds upon your strengths. Recommend for anyone Who just wants to have fun.

The instructors are always upbeat and encouraging and cheerful. If they can teach my husband to dance gracefully, they can teach Godzilla and King Kong and Frankenstein to dance too. If anyone thinks they have two left feet and cannot learn to dance, give the fabulous teachers at Arthur Murray a chance. They can do the impossible.
