2000 Dreams Bridal

I have had two bad experiences with this place. The first was for a bridesmaid dress. The salespeople barely spoke English and were not friendly. So I ended up not getting the dress there. The next was when I was trying to find a specific Maggie Sottero wedding dress I wanted to try to compare with a simpler version of the same dress I has already tried on at another store. When I saw they were a retailer I decided to give them another try and not judge them on one bad experience. So I called on two different occasions to ask if they had the dress and both times they said yes. So I made an appt. and asked if they could have the dress pulled because I was coming on my short lunch break and the guy said no problem. I get there and the lady hands me the catalog and tells me to find the dress I want to try on. A little annoyed, I found the dress. She pulls the dress and puts it in the dressing room. I take one look at it and it is NOT the dress. It is not even a Maggie! It looked similar from the front but the fabric was not the same (not as nice) and the back detail (the whole reason I wanted to try this dress) was not even there!! So she starts to tell me "this almost same dress see lace here and here" Very annoyed at this point ask her do you have the real Maggie Sottero dress or not?? She then says "no we no have that dress, we can order for you?" I was po'd to put it mildly. I asked before I scheduled the appt if they had that dress and was told yes only to get there and them try to hand me a knock-off at $690 at that. I can get the real thing for that much! Beware of this place. I will never go back there! I am glad I had not driven very far to get there I would have been irate if I had driven from my house all the way down there and had that happen to me!!
