Ruben was the service rep that took care of us this time. He was extremely helpful, professional and easy to talk to. It's clear that he loves his job and cares about his customers. We like this place so much, this was our 3rd time back, and we will continue to utilize their service. The price was very very competitive with others, and from what i have experienced, even less expensive than most! Thanks Wood Vision Source! See you next time.

This place was horrible. My wife went in and completed her eye exam within 20mins so I figured I would go next. Staff said I was next ... waited for 20mins then was seen for the first part. Then they sat me down in the waiting room for another 30 mins while he saw other patients and a pill pusher rep. WHAT REALLY!!!! Doctor Wood .. you really see your pill pushers before your customers!! Then when I asked to reschedule I got attitude from the secretary. Paid for my wifes visit and left ... never going back to this place again! Patients beware!!! He was very nice and seemed to know what he was talking about but their priority's are way off ... I wasn't the only one in the waiting for mad. There wasn't enough chairs for everyone and I still had one other person in front of me. So over all if I would have stayed it would have been over a hour for simple eye exam .... NEVER GOING BACK HERE! EVEN FOR MY WIFE AND SONS GLASSES THAT THEY NEED .... FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO BECAUSE THIS OFFICE IS THE WORST!

Definitely a great experience and I had been to the Vision Source at 1604 and this is NOT the same place. That office changed it's name and I decided to try this new Vision Source as I was not happy at the other office. SO I am talking about the Vision Source office right by the Sears appliance store on Bandera road. They ARE GREAT. I will never go anywhere else and I am so glad these guys came to my neighborhood. The staff was so nice and the glasses I got from them are the first pair of no-line bifocals that I can walk around in! They explained what was wrong with my other pairs and I am so happy. They are my family eye doctors for as long as I live in San Antonio. thanks guys- keep up the good work!

I confused this place with what was precviously Bandera vision source on 1604, turns out that one is no longer a VS and this one is new. Nothing to be compared. Excellent service, excellent products, and excellent doctor. They actually made me feel like they care for my needs. I've read other reviews and the only explanation I can think of for the bad reviews is that people still confuse them for the old Bandera vision source. The doctor actually spent time with me and the staff was super friendly and professional, very welcoming. The guy above can not be talking about the same place because I've had family and friends go as well and they all loved the experience and their glasses. Definitely will keep on recommending them to all I know.

I purchased 2 pair of glasses. Each of them needed to be remanufactured twice. They never fit properly. I could not see squat! When the nose pad on my sunglasses came off allowing metal to stick into my nose, I was totally ignored. Very overpriced. Totally unprofessional and incompetent. Be smart and take you business elsewhere. These guys suck.
