Overall

Amazing!

This place is beyond 5 stars! The food is supreme quality, the owners, a husband & wife team, are awesome people, & the wait staff are nice & on top of things. My family goes there at least once a week. Our favs so far are the Huevos Rancheros & of course the cheeseburgers & onion rings, which are like none I've had! You will be hooked once you go, maybe I will see you there!

Whistle Stop Cafe on Southton ...

Whistle Stop Cafe on Southton in Elmendorf Texas has the best homemade burgers, onion rings with homemade batter and fries. Best homemade food this side of the Mississippi River. The rustic art work is quite welcoming. Great artist. Bird houses are quaint and attractive. Art work is visual entertainment while you eat. Place is quite spacious, very clean and white.
