General Info: The Wesley Community Center host a variety of recreational, social and educational activities and events for individuals of all ages. In partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation and the South Texas Injury Prevention and Research Center, it organizes traffic safety workshops. The Wesley Community Center is a facility of Methodist Healthcare Ministries, which is a faith-based, nonprofit organization that offers counseling, case management, social work and medical and dental care services. Methodist Healthcare Ministries, also known as MHM, provides church-based community nursing and parenting programs. It was founded in 1996 and works to meet the medical, educational and social needs of individuals in underserved counties throughout the United States.
