Turquoise Grill

We have been there for many times, but we had the worse service ever yesterday. The damn guy (Waiter A) greeting us when we stepped in and led us to a table. We have three adults and only got 2 menus. Then 10 mins after, we only had bread and we were not asked for any drinks. Ten more mins, Waiter A came and we asked for the water and told him we are ready for order. Then he wrote our orders and left. Guess what, we were waiting for 30 mins for the meals. During our waiting, he (Waiter A) never came to us and asked if we need something. (People who came in after us and were served by the other waiter (Waiter B) have had food to eat already.) Finally, another waiter (Waiter C) walked to us and brought meals to us, but those were not what we ordered. I remember this Waiter C who served us last time and he always smiles and greets to us friendly. Then he (Waiter C) substituted to the DANM Waiter A to serve us and immediately said sorry to us then he placed our orders again. (So, what was wrong with that DANM Waiter A? He asked for the orders and wrote it down. After 30-mins waiting, there was the wrong food. At this moment, some people who came in after us and were served by Waiter B have finished their food and been ready to leave ). The people sat next table served by Waiter A and told to us that he is HORRIBLE for the service and orders. DANM, what a lucky day!

Then Waiter C treated us quick and right. FIVE mins later, again just FIVE mins, We had our meal ready on the table. The food are always good. People are always nice, except that Waiter A. The funnest thing is that, when I am ready to pay the check and left my card with the bill on the table, now the F***ING Waiter A came to me and want to take it from me (This is the ONLY TIME he came to us during the visit. HEY, WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU, WAITER A? YOU NEVER SERVED US AND WANTED THE BILL AT THE END. What the F?). Of course, I handed the bill to Waiter C and made sure the tips goes to him, not Waiter A. DANM, I would not pay any cents if the waiters share the tips, but Waiter C is so nice as we met last time.

As I mentioned, the food are always good and the service as well, except this Waiter A. I would be surprise, if he would not be FIRED next time I visit.

This restaurant has quality food and excellent customer service. The wait staff is courteous and very friendly. Turquoise Turkish Grill is probably the best Mediterranean food I have had in San Antonio. Upon moving here from Chicago, I noticed shortly that the dining choices in SA are not too diverse. There are a lot of cantinas and burger joints. The portions are also very large. I was able to share a portion with my boyfriend and still have leftovers.
