South Texas Memorials

South Texas Memorials....Oh boy where to start with them? Ok lets see....Now I know most of us come to that point in life where a loved one is gone. We dont know where to look or where to start. We know our loved one needs a headstone, just so that way we will always know where our loved one was at and for others to find them more easily. Well my family and I came across that point to where we were just searching online looking for places where they do headstones. Ill be completly honest with you this was the first one that popped out when searching. We went to there website to look at their portfolio. I loved there work it was amazing. Keep in mind my family and I had only so much money to work with. We told Mark our situation that we were in and he worked with our budget. He gave us a rough draft and they kept in touch till the work was finished. They got everything done in a nice and timely manner. I suggest this place to anyone whos looking for a headstone and keep in mind he will work with you and your budget also its UNLIMITED engraving. Try them check them out for youself head down to the business and talk with them. You WILL love it I promise! Thank you MARK GARZA & FAMILY! It was truly a blessing working with you all! I worked with South Texas Memorials last year. At first Mark (owner) was so personable and caring. I placed my headstone order and a 6 month job turned into over a year. I called several times and always got the run around or they said they would call me back but never did.
The product I received was nice and well done. However, I had to work around his schedule. I had waited so long and then it was a hurried job because he was placing other stones in that cemetery on that day and he wasn’t willing to go back another day. I live out of town but moved some things around to be there that day. At that point I was so done with his poor customer service.
I’m not sure why some people get involved in businesses such as this one when they have no empathy. This (headstone) was the last thing I would do for my loved one.
I usually always recommend the family owned business but not South Texas Memorials. Not for this kind of occasion.

My husband and I worked with Mark Garza he is a very understanding and caring person. We reached out to him at on of the lowest points in our lives, we had to bury our 1 1/2 month old and the attetion to detail that he haad is remarkable. He made a horrible situation just that much more easier to get through. Thanks Mark.

My daughter and I worked with Mark Garza and we were very satisfied. Mark and the other employees were kind and compassionate in helping us pick out the right headstone for my deceased husband. We had a custom stone engraved and the price was very fair.
