Shavano Family Practice

I've been with Dr. Finnie and his staff for 2 years now and I am very pleased with their care. They have been great in making sure my care is top notch from my physicals and routine blood work to unplanned visits when I'm ill or need medical advise or attention. I had not had a general practitioner for years and have found a home at Shavano Family Practice.

A patient of Dr. Mitchell Finnie for almost 20 years but now collecting my medical records as I turn 65 and was told Medicare patients (with insurance from my employer in addition) are not accepted. It took 6 days to receive a reply from their patient portal and then I was told there would be a fee for picking up my records. Called the doctor but the call was never returned. Went for blood work but was told to come back because they had no vials in which to put the blood. Most recently, I was misdiagnosed as having carpal tunnel syndrome, when it fact it was another heart episode. Big mistake. I would not recommend this medical practice to anyone.
