San Antonio Urgent Care

A member of my family needed urgent care (minor emergency care level) and I had been to this clinic before so we decided to use this provider again. It was 2PM on a week day and we were told that we needed an appointment. When I asked if this was a minor emergency clinic, I was told that after 5PM it is but before that it is a regular family practice. Maybe they should change the big sign out front that says "Urgent Care" to "Urgent Care After 5PM Only".

Our 3-year old son was having a skin reaction and he was visibly uncomfortable. Since SA Urgent Care had recently opened up right down the street from us, we decided to take him there. We showed up about 15 minutes until closing on a Saturday afternoon, and the desk clerk turned us away and told us that they were getting ready to close for the day!! Unbelievable! What a lousy business culture for an "Urgent Care" facility. Went to Texas Med Clinic instead. Don't waste your time here!!!
