I went in for a scheduled appointment today only to find out that the stylist I had seen in the past was no longer with the salon. I wasn't contacted, but I was told in a condescending manner that they did call me and they did leave a message. The "girl" who cut my hair was very personable, but it was VERY obvious she didn't have much experience cutting or styling hair. I felt like was 13 again and my best friend and I were pretending to do each others hair. I realize stylist need to get experience, but please, not at a salon who charges $60. I basically got a $10 cut for $60! I'm never going back.

I used my Urban Dealight coupon to get a mani/pedi at Sivan the day before my wedding. It was done by someone who told me she's a hair colorist. Hopefully she's better at hair than she is at nails! (which left me wondering why I was entrusted to her care instead of a nail person...)

When she painted my nails she didn't wait until the first coat was dry to apply the next, and she didn't paint all the way down to my cuticle... I was left with gooey, lumpy nail polish that didn't even cover the whole nail. It looked like a 5 year old had done it and left me wanting to promptly leave and go redo it myself.

Maybe I only got this kind of service because they knew I was using a coupon, maybe customers who pay full price get a better quality service, but if that's the case I say that's pretty bad business practice.

I recently bought an Urban Dealight deal for a spa/body wrap.

It was amazing and so is the salon and staff. Rachel Webb was outstanding! She did a wonderful foot and hand massage while my wrap processed. Afterward, I was treated to a dessert of yogurt mixed with granola and berries and chocolate!

I bought an Urban Dealight some time ago for a cut and style. I was hesitant because our hair is our most valuable accessory! However, I have now been back multiple times and have been blown away by the customer services, all the little extras and the convenience. Ana has done a phenomenal job with my once-damaged hair. The Aveda products truly work (who knew?). I would recommend this salon to anyone who wanted a special experience with over-the-top service. Worth every penny!

Beautiful Salon! I have always loved Aveda, so when I looked for a salon near me that carried the line, I chose Sivan at first because it was conveniently located to where I live. I was very pleasantly surprised when I walked in to a chic, sophisticated decor, and was greeted by some of the friendliest customer service personnel I've encountered in quite some time. It makes a big difference when someone takes the time to show you they're happy you came in! The little receptionist was very enthusiastic and went above and beyond simply "checking me in" for my appointment. I was taken on a tour of the facility, which I thought was nice, then they offered me a beverage and even a snack! Another added treat there was a massage therapist (Amber I believe was her name) who gave me a hand massage while I was waiting for my hair to process, (for FREE!) which I enjoyed very much. I started my day thinking I would be getting a routine touch up and trim, and ended up leaving with pretty much a royal spa treatment! I love my cut and the color the stylist suggested for me...I will definitely be back, and am actually looking forward to the next visit!

Really Cool!!!... i think that staff is so...critical in a place like this . as i have been to other places at the Rim and Stone Oak and they just don't compare... there is a lot of " Customer Service" going on in this place and i don't see what else could be more important than that in a Salon/Spa... Excellent massage and Spa Pedicures... Highlights Costed $78.00 and i got a free neck massage so ... i actually had a really nice time.. Great energy in this place...!! Excellento!

Sivan Salon and Day Spa... Honestly, im a really picky person, when it comes to my hair and my pocket book- I but i really had a great time i went in for a color and cut... from complete brunette to a high-lighted blonde .. As soon as i walked in i thought wow !! ..... The pampering, the service, the extra mile they go for their customers. The Color came out amazing I have never used AVEDA products before and im sold,!! I was amazed at the customer service, I will continue to book my appointments here whether massages, facial, hair. etc.. it was the best salon money i have ever spent. Highly recommend it!!!

Fabulous place! The stylists sit you down and analyze your hair type, lifestyle, etc. before cutting your hair. The atmosphere of the salon is very elegant.

I've followed a past stylist around for 8 years, she worked at multiple salons including Hugo's. She stopped doing hair for a while, so I went to who my family was going to, Timothy Webber at Sivan Salon. The atmosphere there is so pleasant and calm, topping all the other salons I've been to. Everyone there is so kind and at ease, they seem to really enjoy what they are doing other than feeling like they are forced to be there. It was hard for me to trust someone else with my hair, but Timothy is amazing at what he does. The cut and color are just fantastic, and he is now who I will be going to from now on. In my opinion, Sivan is one the best salons in San Antonio, and the best I've ever been to.

my hair cut is stylist exactly as I asked. My bangs were cut to make me appear as a woman not a cute movie star. Julie Paredes

listened to my needs and she designed a perfect cut easy to keep held back in a short pony tail but elegant for the evening.

My bangs are the best shaping my eyebrows to bring the best out of my eyes. She will be coloring my hair in December!

Had a great time. Haircut looks great. Timothy Webber was professional and did an excellent job. Looking forward to my next appointment.
