        We help to make a difficult process as gentle and pain-free as possible, in the comfort of home where your pet is the most at ease. Promised Land House-Call Pet Euthanasia was founded by Dr. Sarah Pittman and her husband, Derling Esparza, a veterinary technician. They met at a busy emergency clinic, where together they treated many critical patients. Unfortunately, euthanasia was also part of the job, as many pets could not survive their injuries, diseases, or conditions associated with old age. They saw how the process of euthanizing a beloved pet could be improved upon in so many ways. The desire to make a pets' last moments as stress-free and comfortable as possible was the driving force behind creating Promised Land House-Call Pet Euthanasia. Euthanasia, while always a very difficult and painful decision for a pet owner, is sometimes the best for a pet that is suffering. It is the responsibility of the veterinary team to ensure that this process is as stress and pain-free for the pet and pet owners as possible. Dr. Pittman and her husband take this responsibility very seriously and feel that the best place for a euthanaisa to be performed is at home, not at a veterinary clinic where a pet is terrified by all the smells, other pets and overall environment. In Latin, euthanasia means, "good death" or "humane death". Dr. Pittman and her husband are comitted to providing this service for pets in need of this final act of mercy.

        Five stars is NOT ENOUGH for this Business. I PRAY you guys don't need this like I did yesterday, but I wanted to share in case you do. My 15 year old lab decided THIS was the weekend (yes a Holiday weekend) to die, and he could not even get up and walk. I will spare you all the details, but it was bad. I'm a RN and you guys KNOW how picky and critical Nurses can be. I found the link online and I called her. The Vet and her technician came to the house and helped my "Lucky" go Home comfortably and with dignity. On a scale of 1 and 10, she is absolutely a 20 with sincere and heart felt compassion.
        Just wanted to share so you will have a place to call when you need it for your pet so you won't go through the stress we did of not being sure we would find the RIGHT doctor. We ABSOLUTELY found and Angel on Earth.... Linda/RN

        I was so grateful for the kind, compassionate and caring service provided by Dr.Pittman and her husband, Derling. My sweet dog was 14 yrs old and could no longer get up. I knew the day was coming- but you will never be ready when it does. Promised Land made this very difficult and emotionally distressing process less traumatic for me and most importantly for my dear dog, Heather. My sweetheart was in her home, on her pillow in her favorite spot in front of the window. She was allowed to pass peacefully from this Earth in the place she was most comfortable. I loved my dog like a child. Dr. Pittman and Derling were so kind and gentle with my dear Heather. The service they provide is invaluable and I can't understand why anyone faced with this difficult decision would ever put their beloved pet through the trauma of spending their last moments in a vet's office.

        My mom's lab had gotten to the point where he could not get up to walk, to eat, to go out to do his business. She found you guys and you came out and gave her the time she needed to say her goodbyes. You were both so very compassionate and patient and I know it meant the world to her! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
