Party Mart

As a young mother with an infant I carry a bag without zippers, buttons, or any other method of closure. While browsing the store with my husband and friend, I moved my bag to the farthest end of the cart out of my son's reach. Immediately after, a sales woman walked up to us, searched my bag, and as she was walking away said that bags are "not allowed" in the carts. While I don't have a problem with the policy, there were no signs up telling of this policy and I was not asked before my bag was searched. We left immediately after, and won't be back again.

Do not go here! I walked in here this store and as soon as I walked in, the sales person started talking to me about them being cheaper than other places like Party City. She was being pushy and I was told that they buy the merchandise and sell it cheaper. Well, I was convinced and shame on me for not doing my homework. So, I bought $76 worth of party supplies for an upcoming party. So, that weekend I went to Party City and noticed that they were cheaper. For example, for cupcake toppers that I bought for $10.99, Party City had them for $6.99. I said no problem, I will go return it because I obviously found the same items cheaper elsewhere. So, of course, this store does not do refunds but store credit. This is ridiculous and extremely fishy. The girl told me to call and speak with the manager. So, I called the manager was not in for two days. I would not recommend you going here, that’s all. Shop around and Party City, Dollar Tree, Walmart and Target do sell cheaper. Also, when I asked to speak with the owner, no one could tell me who the owner was or how to reach him/her.

Party Mart was not helpful at all. I got the phone number from yellowpages.com and called to check the availability of an item. After being told they had the product and driving across town to purchase it, I found that they did not even stock the item I asked for.
