i dont know if they treat everyone ,of either gender, with the sticky, sweet ,superficial smile before they retreat to the scene of the crime to sabotage your vehicle. They talk of their expertise on their website, but i failed to see any certifications displayed at the shop. RUN, dont walk, away!

This shop is not honest!!! They overcharge for labor and parts. I pulled up after my serpentine belt broke and I couldn't steer. After checking my vehicle they said I needed a new belt, a new water pump and an alternator. They said that the belt had damaged the alternator and the water pump.They immediately printed an invoice listing the part charges and the labor charges--before they even knew how many hours it would take. They did not try to get the best price for the alternator-called one place. The alternator-rebuilt-was invoiced at $210. The labor for installing the alternator-$222. They charge $95/hr. labor and so they assumed the labor time at 2.33 hrs. The recommended time for that relatively simple job is 1.5 hrs. max. The water pump itself, priced at $59 and the labor charged was $198 for installing it. The standard time for a water pump is 1 hr. esp. if the alternator has already been removed. I was overcharged at least $183 in labor. The rebuilt alternator part charge of $210 also was excessive. The job took one full day plus 3 hrs. to complete. I have requested a refund from MT Automotive but have not received it yet. I definitely do not recommend this shop for any engine work. The desk person, Matt, was very smug and all-knowing about everything and would not agree that the labor or part pricing was excessive...he said they were already discounted 30%. The final bill issued was exactly the same as the initial invoice. It did not show what work they actually did and the hourly break-out for labor. I'm very upset but would concede a little if I received the $183 refund. The $183 is actually minimal. Their actual overcharges were probably more like $250-300. My final bill was $754. They will take you to the cleaners.
