You put a smile on my entire office's face! We strive to make everyone happy in our office, but unfortunately as you said in your rating, people get upset over things/percieve things differently, especially when money/insurance and personalities become an issue.With the size of our active patient base...it is a challenge to meet everyone's individual expectations while maintaining the highest clinical standards I demand. I am sorry you were unhappy, but I suspect your unhappiness was with the fact you were advised that there was a $25 reproduction fee of x-rays...as allowed/dictated by the Texas State Dental Board. Accusations of unprofessionalism are a serious matter...and addressable to/with the Texas State Board of Dentistry in Austin...(as posted on the wall in my waiting room in office). The dental hygienist mentioned in your rating was unfortunately terminated on the spot for constantly failing to meet standards laid out by myself and Texas State Board of Dentistry rules/regulations...which place patients in a potential state of harm. THIS WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Actions were taken immediately..and I appologize if my actions were heard/visible by yourself...but it was done to ensure my patients were protected from potentially hazardous actions...and I am happy to say we now have a wonderful hygienist who exceeds all set standards.As far as you not seeing patients there when you were there....well that goes to show my staff is very effective at scheduling. I see over 12-15 patients per day...and have an active patient base of over 3500 patients. Our task of ensuring patients do not "pile up" in the waiting room because of ineffective time management is being accomplished. This occurs at larger, corporate clinics because of POOR TIME MANAGEMENT. Nobody likes to sit and wait with 5 other people in a waiting room and then be "hearded in" the clinic, and sat down in a chair where they must wait for another hour to see the dentist. Your statement goes to show we are highly effective at time management and care about YOUR time...as well as ours!

Insurance companies routinely question procedures to protect the patient and the treating doctor. As far as systemic filing problems..our filing system is computerized and extremely accurate.I am sorry it is causing a problem..and I am sure if you contact me at the office...this matter can be resolved...by me(personally). My office staff are considered some of the best in the business and as far as being uncommunicative/unresponsive...again...This allegation will be investigated by myself...but it is absolutely neccesary the insurance claim/date of treatment/service be identified...because as of now with the vague info I have read here...no action can be taken.With a patient base of 5000...our logistics and paperwork are at the highest of efficiency...and both are monitored on a daily basis by the owner dentist...(myself)I am sorry you thought the dental service was only adequate...and not exceptional...as I strive for.
