Here is a little bit about me and what I do.Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?I put every part of my talents, knowledge, and efforts into a photo shoot from the date of booking to the final e-mail that your pictures are ready. Being a mom myself, I am aware of the high energy enthusiasm to the screaming tantrums. For that reason, and because I love kids, it is my end goal with each shoot to make it simple, exciting, and fun for everyone. From my engagement to business and from maternity to family, every session I do has it's unique touch. I am constantly coming up with new ways to make my sessions different. I recently purchased a dark brown leather kids chair because I knew it would look perfect for baby Owen with his suspenders and fedora. My mind is always spinning on the next best shot! When I blow families expectations out of the water or I see tears shed I know I have done my job!What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?It's so much more than just taking pictures! The knowledge you need to have behind the camera and at the computer is impeccable. Photographers are artists, but also business owners so they play many roles. Most importantly it's a people business and so a love for pictures is great but a love for people is indispensable. What is your greatest strength?I believe my greatest strength is, yes my talent with cameras and photo shop but most importantly my love for people, especially kids and of course love stories (who doesn't?) This comes into play with engagement couples!Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.Much of my work is with families. I love working with families and each different energetic kiddo! I also love working with newborns as they are so fresh into the world. Engagement and weddings always make my heart beat a little faster as I see beautiful stories unfold and get to capture each endearing moment. My experience doesn't stop there as I have done event, business, product, and senior photography.How did you decide to get in your line of work?I have always loved photography and was raised with it. But it wasn't until my husband, family, and friends, but especially my husband, pushed me to do this full time. With his encouragement I am doing what I absolutely love and would never look back!What brings you the most joy?My family, friends, and living each day to the fullest. The best days are when I have nowhere to be and time isn't a thought just the conversation at hand with a loved one or friend with a cup of coffee in hand. I love the outdoors and checking stuff out, especially while on a kayak. Life is one big adventure that I love learning more about it!

- After your photo session, you will recieve an e-mail in approximately 2 weeks with your own confidential password to access your photo viewing gallery. Family and friends can also view your gallery when you share this password.In your gallery there are various print sizes and styles, print packages, and fun merchandise like cards, mugs, and canvas art. Merchandise will be delivered directly to your address of choice.Digital image CD’s can be added to both the full session, mini session, and newborn session. Pro:Lindsay takes great pictures and I barely noticed where she was on our wedding day because she is quiet and moves around the crowd with ease. Con: It did take months and months and months to get our pictures, and she only edited about a third of them. Because of the long wait to get our photos and her constantly misleading us about when our pictures would be ready, I don't recommend her.

I also recently hired her for a family photo shoot, and I regret it so badly. It was such a headache to deal with her.
After the photo shoot, she just went silent for 4 weeks. I emailed her asking the status...she said it's coming..another 2 weeks passed. I emailed her again. She says 'oh didn't you get my email with all the images?'..well, I didn't! and I don't know how you can send an email with a terabytes attachment. I also ordered a CD with all the images taken at the photo shoot. So I ask her when the CD would be ready. She comes back says 'Oh do you want CD too?' She charged me $2.25 extra for postage upfront and she acted like she didn't know...anyhow another week passed. I (AGAIN ME, NOT HER) emailed her again, if the CD had been mailed yet. she says it's in the mail..well I don't know what's up with her, but she refuses to give a customer any sorts of updates.
So after long waiting and bugging her constantly, I finally got the CD. Besides I did not get what I promised, which was all the images in color and black and white,(I only got 40 images and only 5 of them were black were white) the final photo quality was a big disappointment. I only liked 2 pics among all, because some of the pics were simply not usable. Either my eyes were closed or my husband's mouth looks weird because obviously he was saying something, and etc.
My experience with her was a disaster. AVOID HER! Her lack of professionalism and poor quality are not worth the money or your time and energy. If it's possible I would give her minus stars.
While she does a great job editing, she has horrible customer service skills. She didn't double check our location site to make sure we could take our pictures there. The site that is recommended on her website. She informed us after we had already showed up. After agreeing on another location, she took our photos. The shoot went great. She said our pictures would be ready in 2-3 weeks even though her website says within 2 weeks. After 4 weeks, I emailed her asking about our photos, she said within the week they should be done. 2 more weeks went by (total 6 weeks) nothing from her, I emailed her again. She said the same thing within the week the should be ready. Finally after 8 weeks they were done. She didn't email, text or call to let me know and to finish up our order. I had to be the one to call her. Once we received our photos, there are some errors on them. Things that any professional photographer would have noticed while taking the photos. We also did not receive everything that we paid for. We only got 17 photos instead of 20 which her website says we should have gotten and we also didn't get the online viewing either. She didn't offer any kind of discount for her mistakes or for the inconvenience that she had caused me. If you are going to charge professional prices, you need to act like a professional.
