Il Villaggio Italiano Pizzeria

I ordered off of grubhub, and the guy knocked on my door, gave me my food, and then literally ran away before I had a chance to even say thank you. I checked the order and they had the wrong dessert and forgot my pizza. I called the restaurant and told the lady about that, and she said, "let me call the driver," and then she hangs up. She didn't say, "please hold," or, "I will call back." She literally just hung up. I then called back saying I got hung up on, and the lady (the same lady I had recently spoken to) said, "I didn't hang up on you, I told you I was calling the driver!" By the way, it was in a very annoyed and rude tone. I then told her that she had not given me any details on whether I would get a call back or anything, so that's why I called back to double check. She said, "again, I told you I was calling the driver!" I then asked if she would call me back to update me, and she said yes. Seven minutes later, I hadn't heard anything. I called back and she said the driver was on his way Hank with my pizza. It's been a while, and I haven't gotten anything. I'm guessing I won't get my $10 pizza. So, to summarize, the service was probably the worst service I've ever had. Also, and to be fair, I haven't gotten the opportunity to eat the pizza (and probably never will), but the food was DISGUSTING! If you're service is going to be absolutely deplorable, your food better at least be good. Worst experience ever. Please don't waste your money or time,

Waited almost 2 hours for pizza. Forgot my drink.
Also they charge a delivery AND credit card fee. I ordered from a flyer left under my hotel room door. Wish I had googled them first.

If I could give this business no stars I would I ordered a pizza from them it took them 1 hour to deliver it 8 miles away from there business it was burnt to a crisp the bottom was completely black I called and complained and demanded the remake it it then took them four hours to show up without my pizza do not order from here not only is it bad food and customer service but the front desk at the hotel I am at said this is normal for them and they tend to double charge you If you pay with a card

SCAM! ordered a pizza and never recieved it. Called for 3 1/2 hrs and alls u could hear was a baby in the background crying and they kept telling us the pizza was on its way and never was. Also the hotel we r at said they do not allow them to put flyers under the doors but they snuck in and did anyways

I ordered a pizza at 10:52pm and was told an hour wait. At midnight, I called again and was told the driver was there. At 12:15, I cancelled the order and verified the payment would be stopped. It's Tuesday and the charge hit. I tried calling in as 2pm, and the guy answering the phones was rude and hung up on me twice as i'm trying to get my refund processed. This is ridiculous.

Very salty and under cooked pizza...... Never again I'll order from this place

Fast service, great food

This establishment is very unprofessional in handling,or trying to satisfy customers when orders are incorrect,burnt part of the order then under cooked the pizza. Ordered from our hotel while on vacation and the end result was no refund and the order was never made right. The staff basically told us what are you going to do about it... Very dissatisfied and three children that were hungery for pizza! My advise is; if you get flyers under your door suite and it is from this restaurant dont order from them. Be cautiosvwith others as well. Holiday Inn & Suites stated these places slip in occaisionally and then the end result is the same unappy customers....

I ordered a large pizza, 2 house salads, and cheese bread at 11:30 and did not receive my food till 1:30. I had called an hr after ordering asking where my food was I got the driver is new and got lost on the other side of San Antonio, when the driver got here he said he just picked the pizza up ans it only took 15 mins from the pizzeria, I called to see if I got a discount or something they gave me $5.00 off, we got the pizza since we didn't have dinner but it was as cold as ice, bread was hard, and salad wasn't fresh. I called the pizzeria again to talk to a manager and they said that there was a acting manager talked to him, but he couldn't do anything we asked if a manager would be there tomorrow but he said no manager would be. I have let the hotel we are staying at know about this pizzeria and other hotel guest. I will never order from this place again I wouldn't feed this food to my dogs. Most horrible service and food. Do not get any food from here.

For a receipt, I was given a strip of paper with $24 handwritten. No itemized details. Very high price for one person, delivery guy didn't know price details. The next day, online banking account stated I was charged $25. I called and asked them to explain the price to me, they couldn't. My total should of been around $20. They told me I would be refunded, but I still haven't gotten my money back.

BEWARE, THEY ARE CROOKS!

We were staying in San Antonio on vacation and wanted to try a local pizza place.First of all it took and hour and 20 minutes for our order to arrive. We ordered 2 pizza's and pasta and a salad. They forgot one of our pizza's. All the delivery lady had for me was my debit card slip to sign and the amount seemed kind of high. I asked for an itemized receipt and she didn't have one. I went back up to our room and added everything up and the amount they charged me was $13.00 more than what I ordered. I called and asked to speak to a manager. He was very rude. There was an additional $1.00 fee to use a credit card and a $4.00 delivery fee so that would have been an additional $5.00 but they still could not tell me what the other charges were for. I asked them to credit back the pizza they forgot and I was assured they would. Well guess what....they never did!!! I have since canceled the debit card I used because I don't trust these people

I have been to this restaurant already several times and what a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. Not only is their pizza SUPER good but these guys took the initiative to help me walk out my order to the car. Everyone at my office was asking where I got the pizza and now we order very often. Thank you Il Villaggio for your services and our GREAT experience. GREAT place to take my kids too

DO NOT order from this place. My SO and I ordered from here once before, took an hour, and the food was not even that great. We decided to try a second time, we ordered at 6:50pm and it is 9:32pm and it is not here yet. We called four times!! & they lied about our order twice. Never ordering from this place again, save yourself the trouble!

Excellent food for the right price!
