        Overall

        Nice little mom & pop business. I like being able to get my medical and dental in one place and the personal attention the doctors give. (the wife is the doctor and the husband is the dentist) They take the time to explain everything and make me feel like more than just a number.

        I've never had any real issues here. Sometimes I have to wait a few minutes to see the doctor but it still beats going to one of the assembly line clinics.

        Like I said, its a mom and pop operation so they're very friendly and work with you on scheduling and treatment/ payment plans.

        I like the personal touch when it comes to my health and would recommend to like minded people.

        This practice should lose their license for malpractice.



        My mother went to Henwood Family Dentistry and got a 13 step treatment plan that included extractions, crowns, and fillings. She went ahead and got two crowns at $1100 each. The rest of the plan cost over $7000.



        Upon moving to North Carolina, she got two second opinions- one here in NC, and another in New York City. Both dentists agreed that she had NO CAVITIES, and needed NO crowns or extractions.



        Henwood Family Dentistry is a terrible scam. In addition, we called their office three times to get the panoramic x-rays forwarded to her current dentist. They refused, and told me that we would have to call the Better Business Bureau to get her x-rays forwarded to her current dentist.



        DO NOT patronize this practice. They are worse then scammers.
