El Tipico Steakhouse

El Tipico Restaurant on Goliad Rd in San Antonio, Texas is a wonderful place to eat with waiters who are true gentlemen and really care about making your dining experience a very pleasant one. My husband and I always order the Enchilada plate with a puffy taco, which also has rice, refried beans & tortillas. It is truly heavenly. The enchiladas are topped with chili con carne & the puffy taco is their own special recipe. There is no where in San Antonio that we have found that has enchiladas or puffy tacos like El Tipicio's!!! They also have steaks & seafood on their menu. However, if we want Tex-Mex food, we go to our other favorite restaurant, which is El Tequila on Marbach Rd. I love pico de gallo & charro beans, and my huband loves a grilled beef & chicken fajita plate. El Tipico does not have Tex-Mex foods, so we go to El Tequila for those. However, there is nowhere that we know of that can beat El Tipico on enchiladas & puffy tacos!!! We love our El Tipico & our waiter friends there!!!
