County Government Probation Field Offices

I am in a very unfortunate position and would not wish my situation on anyone! My family and I moved to San Antonio, TX a month ago from the Dallas area and my husband and I have not been able to find work. My husband is a certified Teacher and was not able to find a teaching position here in San Antonio and I have worked in the customer service area for many years and have not found a job yet. Anyways, we went to apply for government assistance because we actually need help! We are not trying to rip off the government by being lazy fat jerks that stay at home because they are too fat to get off their butts. We are actually in need of assistance to feed our boys and ourselves. We have run out of funds to pay the rent and to pay our bills and when I went to the Castroville office to file for assistance they would not help!!!!! I had to wait 4 1/2 hours one day just to try and speak to someone and had nothing resolved. None of the people that work their can actually help you. They are very rude and all they can say is take a number and wait until you are called on. I took a number three days in a row and waited 3-4 hours each day and had nothing accomplished. No phone call, no interview, no food to feed my children. I hate this office and wish that nobody would ever have to go there because they cannot do anything right. This office can go to hell! I hate you Castroville office workers! Thanks for nothing! Now I have to go sell my plasma to get money just to put gas in my car to get to the grocery store and what ever little I have left buy my boys something to eat. Thanks for nothing!

You can call them but they seldom answer. You can leave messages but they dont call back. And they wait till the last min to finish there cases. Even if you submit everything during your interview. If you are not from this country you will be seen rapidly. But if you are a native be prepared to wait hour upon days. Sorry but this is the truth.
