They attempt to sell vehicles with "clean" but salvaged titles by not releasing the title to the DMV to be updated with it's correct status. They will also provide outdated Carfax reports that don't reflect the damage or title status that states the vehicle is salvaged. They have pulled this scam on many, many people including military service members. If they have done this to you please complain to TX DMV, FTC (ref complaint: 51187922), BBB (ref complaint: 9914038), and the TX Attorney General.

Beware and Spend 20$ to get Full Car History Report! ...Here's my story:

Theres a reason this dealers cars are so inexpensive! Alert!! Check car history reports first ,it's worth the 20$ - don't do the free one..sometime needed info won't show up... My story: The car I bought had been totalled and they didn't disclose this to me nor did they provide me a car report as promised on their website. They told me it wouldn't print out when I got there...... First of all , let me tell you that I am a disabled veteran and love my country and value honesty to the highest extreme. What I've written is what has happenned to me and my 18 year old son. It's his first car and this is our story. Please note, the dealership may reply and try to spin my accounts but I assure you..this outfit deceived me and my son and it's pretty simple what happenned. You can reach me by email tsmasters70@gmail.com and I'll talk to you personally by phone if you suspect my account. I do this as a service to those and especially fellow veterans to help save some future heartache. If you want to continue to read , please do so, this is exactly the complaint I filed with the AG office and getting ready to file with every military blog, consumer advocate group I can find. Again... I would not be taking all these steps if I was treated fairly and honestly..... Summary of Issue: I saw this great deal on a 2009 Chevy Cobalt with only 36K miles at 7999..at least 500$ from the next comparable car. Called Kerry (owner) on the phone, she promised me the car report was good and no areas of concern that she could see or evidence of suspect history..that she would print me out car report when I got there. Drove all the way from Austin to San Antonio. Car looked great , drove great ....quick note.... Even if they had told me at this point that there was a significant accident and gave me a better deal - I would have still considered buying it.....the car looked good. The main issue I have is the run around and deceit. In the office, I asked again for the history report, Kerry replied that it wouldn't print out right on their printer and would email it to me...but her and her husband David assurred me , there was no history to be concerned with on the car...What happenned? in summary found out the next week after not getting the promised car report that the car had been totalled and was bought at auction by David. I pulled the same report that kerry and her husband subscribe to...was in a simple PDF format and printed perfectly the first time...I later got a manipulated document that had my signature on it that listed all the repairs and damage to the vehicle. I couldn't believe it..no way I would have signed that document. No copies of my documents were provided in the office either when I bought the vehicle..... if you want more detail, the complete transcript is below but beware , they do not disclose previous damage or accidents on autotrader or other sites like good respectable dealers do..... .they may have a clear title but will justify till their blue in the face why they don't disclose previous damage or accidents.....Please , Please print out full car history report and do your homework with this business. ...

Dishonest dealership. They said the car was a clean tittle and never been in an accident, even pulled up the auto history report on it and showed it to me. However I looked up the car fax and this vehicle was in an accident. I asked where they fixed it at and they said at their dealership, so they new it was in an accident and were clearly lying about it. Nice but dishonest and won't be recieveing a sale from me. This is not a trust worthy company, buyer be ware **

Purchased a Mustang for my son. Was shown Carfax and Autocheck reports, also checked with DMV on vehicle history. My wife and I are very pleased with our purchase, my son loves his car and we were able to buy within our budget due to the reasonable pricing of this vehicle. We shopped for months, but could not find a low mileage mustang in our budget. This one only had 45000 miles on it and we were pleased with the honesty and amount of information given to us pre-purchase. We will purchase from here again for our daughter. Highly recommended!!

I have purchased several vehicles from this dealership over the years and have found the value offered there to be unsurpassed by any other dealership large or small. The fact that the prices are all clearly posted is reassuring and what great prices they are! No one sells clean title, low mileage cars and trucks for less! The short drive south of town is definitely worth it!!

I'm a return customer I have purchased several vehicles from Chevyford Motorplex Jeep and Chevy and have had no problems. I will continue to buy from this dealer because of the prices and the honesty. They go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied . I live over an hour away and it's well worth the trip for the savings and condition and the great customer service.

The other reviewers in this post are dead on. My son was going to buy a pickup from this dealership and even put down $100 to hold it. The Autocheck and CarFax (which he purchased) both showed a clean title, but all I did was put the VIN in Google and, sure enough, it popped up in an auction and I even found pictures of what the truck looked like before repairs. Buyer beware! These guys are dishonest!

Purchased my vehicle from Chevyford Motorplex. They are honest, knowledgeable, and I am very pleased with what I paid and what I got. My wife and I shopped so many dealerships that were over priced, had crap for cars, or just lie to make a sale . Chevyford Motorplex offered us a vehicle history report for our vehicle and we pulled a carfax report both showed to be accurate. Appreciate having honest, family owned businesses to deal with so there are no games. For the negative reviews good luck shopping this is the easiest dealer I have ever purchased from.

Don't shop at this place...they buy cars that have been damaged at auctions and then resell them. Somehow they find cars that aren't reported to carfax or autocheck so the car history will look clean. However, these cars have been rebuilt due to accidents! Don't believe me? Just get the Vin# for the car and do a google search and put 'salvage' after the vin#. You will find listings for salvage auctions (typically out of Houston) where they have purchased these cars. Buyer BEWARE!!!
