I gotta admit, it's hard to find an honest and fair mechanic. I read all the reviews and just about everybody gave him good ratings so I took the chance. It was the best service I've had so far. I didn't have to go to a shop, didn't have to wait long and didn't get the runaround. He was upfront about the problem. He arrived on time and was fair about the prices for labor and parts. I had an ignition coil that needed to get replaced. He fixed it with a 1 year guarantee! You can't go wrong with that. Thank you Al for your service and time! Al was freakin awesome! They came out quick to check our vehicle. I felt the price was fair because they came to us and were able to provide the part we needed. They also came out quickly when we had a concern. Definitely recommend their service!

Let me start with I highly recommend Al's mobile mechanic service. My daughter and friend were stranded in S.A. due to a busted alternator belt. I called Al's for assistance (from my home in Alice) & they came out to the hotel & fixed the problem on site. My daughter & her friend were able to get on their way by check out. Listen, I'm not gonna trash this business, but I think it's important that the general public know about it. I give credit where credit is due. I've given good reviews to businesses when it is warranted. I also, as a consumer need to voice my dissatisfaction when necessary. I wasn't going to say anything until Al said something that I didn't think was either professional as a business owner or necessary.

I'm not going to go into detail about my dissatisfaction with this business. Just let me say this, communication was poor, inconsiderate of consumer's time and somewhat unprofessional. He made a comment that no business owner should make to a consumer. It's ok to think something but not verbalized it to a consumer. Overall, he could probably change your oil, spark plugs, filter etc. However, if it is something major, go to someone reputable.

Great guy and reasonable prices. It was done in a timely manor and on a Sunday when no one is usually open. Thank you Al!

I had a problem with my car not starting, I thought it might have been alternator or starter but when al showed up he just tighten my brackets on battery and that's all I needed. He could charged me for either of the starter ir alternator just to get money, but he was honest and only did what was required. They business thrives on good honest work. So any mechanical work you must go here. I've never done a review on a company so the fact that I did this time shows alot.

Well my experience with Al was splendid! My timing belt broke of my car and it was expensive to get it fix but Al and his crew was very patience with me and very honest. He really cares! His crew work very hard on my car and put me back in it within 24 hours! I thank you guys from the bottom of my heart! They are awesome give then a try;-)

We had some car trouble when we went on a trip from Houston to San Antonio. Our car would not change gears. It was a Sunday and I didn't think we would get to get back on the road until Monday. Called Al's just to try my luck and he called me RIGHT back and found us within the hour. He fixed our issues in 10 minutes and we were back on the road! He is a lifesaver! He was extremely friendly, nice and even called back after we left to give us some advice on another issue he saw with the car! Amazing service! I definitely recommend!!

My car was driving rough everytime i pressed the gas pedal. I called Al's Automotive because of the convenience of having the repair done onsite. I work fulltime and have a family to take care of, so i don't have any time to take my car to a shop. Al came to my home, found the problem, ordered the part and fixed my car. Before I finished cooking dinner, my car was done! I feel a huge difference in my car! My car drives awesome! I love it! Al and his mobile auto repair van was great. He arrived 45 minutes after he was first contacted. Very perfessional, great manners and heDID NOT OVER CHARGE A SINGLE MOM. I had been told what was wrong with my car prior to Al comming and an est of the cost.His charge was 75.00 under the shops amount even with his fee for comming out. My car was ready to go and so was I in less than 1.5 hours this incl the time it took him to get the parts. I am late in putting this review in and I am sorry about that if it wasn't for a friend that I just saw who was talking about her new guy that she found to work on her car who knows if i would have even remembered to write this. Al getAAAA+ . I will always use him from now on! Susan

Our truck needed a new Heater Core. Well, we did not know that the entire dash board, air bags, EVERYTHING had to be removed inside the truck in order to get to this part. We heard about Al's through my Mother In Law who said he rebuilt her engine at a very good price. Every business we called hesitated when we asked for a price quote and also reiterated how this was a "Big Job" that could take up to 7 hours, possibly more. When we called Al, he was very professional, did not hesitate, and gave us a GREAT price compared to the other guys. When my husband was on his way to pick up the truck, he forgot our credit card. That was not problem, Al took it over the phone for us! As long as Al is around, we will definitely use him.
