Overall

This was a horrible experience. he has several offices and I had been to 2 of them thinking the service would be different. I was sadly mistaken. I have seen Dr Hernandez 3 seperate appointments and have waited over an hour for every single one of them. He ordered so many unecessary tests that I ended up with over $2,000.00 in radiology fees. I would advise staying away from this Dr. and these offices and advise parents and grandparents to do the same. I saw so many elderly people sitting and waithing the same hour and a half for their appointments and can only imagine how big thier bills are. so sad.

Overall
This doctor is awful

Do not go to this doctor if you value your time or your money. The experience I had not only made me never want to go to Dr. Hernandez again, it also made me never want to go to a doctor again, period. For a routine physical, the doctor ordered several unnecessary tests and spent almost zero time with me. The office then ordered tests for me without discussion, leaving me very confused at all the calls from the radiology clinic. I called them to clear up the mix-up and they gave me conflicting answers about what the tests were for. To make matters worse, the tests were for a type of cancer. What doctor's office wouldn't call their patient to tell them that they needed cancer screenings?! This one.

Additionally, when there was a problem with my insurance, they wouldn't write a letter to the insurance company telling them the tests they had ordered were medically necessary, leaving me with a $500 bill! This doctor exemplifies what is wrong with our current medical system. And if that weren't enough, I had to wait 3 hours on the first visit and more than an hour on the second. A truly horrendous experience.

Overall
extremely dissatisfied

I did not see dr hernandez but I saw two other physicians in the office and am extremely dissatisfied with the care. After the first time my family and I had appointments, I received a letter in the mail saying my son's cholesterol level was high and he should follow a low cholesterol diet. No futher instructions... that's it... a letter in the mail... no follow up... no instructions to return.... no plan to recheck blood work....

Then yesterday I went in due to severe headache that had lasted 5 days. The pain was the most severe I had ever experienced. I had tried sinus medication, tylenol, advil, excedrin, and migraine medication. Then I thought to check my blood pressure and it was very high so I called the office and they told me to come in. When I was there, the medical assistant asked why I wasn't taking high blood pressure medicine or my vitamin D supplement?. I answered I've never had High blood pressure before and I was told to take a calcium supplement. Then when the doctor came in he says I have a headache caused by stress and I should get out of the office before I catch something serious. I should get out of the office before I catch something serious?! He said he could not give me anything for pain because I was taking antideppressants. So, what does that mean? People with depression can't experience pain? How dumb is that? Then as I'm leaving, the girl at the front desk hands me a prescription. I asked what was it and she said it was a vitamin D supplement. I asked what for and she said when they checked my vitamin D level it was low. No one ever informed me of those test results and those tests were also done months ago. I work in health care and I can't believe this man's beside manner or the lack of follow-up in this office.
