        We are local company, born in San Antonio for San Antonio. Alamo Handyman was certified Aug. 9, 2007 as an LLC with the Texas Office of the Secretary of State. The owners are Ed Jewett and Roland Gonzales. Ed and Roland have known each other since junior high school. They were both raised in San Antonio, and they both graduated from Jefferson High School. Ed has a degree from Trinity University and has more than 25 years of management experience in the service industry. Roland graduated from St. Mary's University and has almost 40 years experience in the construction industry. Ed was looking at purchasing a handyman franchise and through discussions with Roland, they decided to start their own handyman service in a joint venture. Starting out with one handyman and a part-time customer service representative, the company has experienced a steady growth. We now have a total of twelve excellent craftsmen in our employ who bring lots of expertise to your home project! Alamo Handyman offers you a broad range of professional home improvement services to fit your home or office needs an affordable price. We bring an expert to your home to review your project on a one-on-one basis. We discuss your plans, suggest material and products that will be needed (but the choice is always yours!) and then we provide you with an estimate for the total cost of the project. Then you can make a decision on what to do and when. We will discuss a final contract with you which indicates a plan of action on your project. Our goal is your satisfaction!!         I’m so happy with Alamo handyman services. I had them come give me an estimate on my fence and another company. Because of their friendliness I went with them and the did an excellent job.

        Alamo Handyman sent out Shane to do some work around my house today (12 Jul 17). Shane was extremely professional, extremely knowledgeable and user friendly. His work was outstanding. I would definitely use Alamo Handyman again. In fact, I'm booking another job for them to work on my patio.

        Alamo Handyman did a great job at our home!! They were called first to provide new flooring and ceiling treatments. They were very prompt, courteous, professional, and their crews were on time and completed the job quickly. We loved them so much that we called them back to put in a brick patio, put in a pergola, brick sidewalks and concrete work. They truly do know how to do it all and they did a great job!! We plan on using them again because we loved all their work!!

        Think twice before hiring! Lack of customer service and professionalism.



        Bathroom renovation pushed back twice (a total of 4 weeks even though I had scheduled 4 weeks early) because of lack of communication from within the company and not ordering my shower and flooring. Not the cleanest company. Room was left with 1/2 inch of drywall dust on everything, debris was tracked into the bedroom, entrance from door to bathroom not covered, and new floor was not covered for the finishing of the walls (I had to scrub off silicon and plaster spots). People were friendly but the whole experience was a nightmare. The company had many great reviews on Angieslist but I did not have a good experience with them.
