I called them to look at a broken furnace on a rental property. They said a valve needed to be replaced, but they wouldn't be able to get that particular kind so they would need to charge $3,500 for their low-end furnace. I paid them a $69 service fee and then called someone else. The other person found the valve and replaced it for $225.



These guys were obviously just taking advantage of me and only want to replace the entire furnace. Its very unfortunate that unscrupulous companies do this sort of thing.
