This has been one of the biggest disappointments in my entire life. Incompetent maintenance, uncontrolled rodents and roaches, and totally inconsiderate and immature tenants are all characteristics of Heather Ridge. In 3 months I have observed nearly 9 mice running around my apartment. Last night I sat on my couch & had to watch as 3 mice ran back & forth across the floor. The maintenance staff advises that they are not responsible for control of mice. I have killed 3 of these mice myself. I put the dead mouse, with the trap it's stuck on, in a Ziplock bag and put it in the garbage. Today I brought the remains of one of those mice, in its Ziplock bag, to the leasing office. It was demanded several times that I immediately leave the office and take the dead mouse with me because they "are not allowed" in the office. So, rodents are banned from the leasing office, but tolerated in the apartments. After several times being demanded to leave, I did leave the office with the mouse & bag left on the desk. This is not a comfortable home environment. I would not recommend or encourage anyone to move here.
