Overall

I love this place. They discovered my disease when no one else paid attention. You have to wait a little while to get in, but that's why the hired a second neuro - dr diep - who is excellent.

I cannot speak of the doctor h...

I cannot speak of the doctor himself, whom I've actually heard is quite good. But I can say that making an appointment at this office has been a nightmare. I suffer from seizures and was referred to Dr. Davis by my primary care doctor. I made an appointment 4 months ago for an appointment coming up later this month. I just yesterday received an appointment card in the mail informing me that the doctor will not be available on the date of my appointment and they had rescheduled it for another day without calling me to find out if I was even available. When I called today to ask that I be scheduled for an appointment the following week, Rhonda, the receptionist, had an absolutely terrible attitude. She is incredibly rude, unapologetic and lacking in compassion. When I questioned why she would not just call to arrange for another time rather than mail me a card assuming I would be available for the new appointment time (especially considering how long I have waited for this appointment to address a rather serious medical issue,) she actually said: "Well if I did it that way, I'd have a lot of phone calls to make, so this is just easier, I can mail the cards out and then the patient can call and let me know if it doesn't work for them." I'm sorry, but it's called your JOB. How many people can a doctor see in one day? You had to call maybe 15 people to reschedule? Not doing so is pure laziness and absolutely awful customer service. She also hung up on me after saying she'd speak with the doctor. When I called back and spoke to another woman she said the next available appointment wasn't until 3 months from now. As someone who was first diagnosed 4 months ago, waiting to see a specialist to get to the bottom of my condition has been difficult. The utter lack of care and compassion exhibited by Rhonda tells me that she has no business working in the healthcare field and no business interacting with patients, who often feel vulnerable and uncertain as it is. Her callous attitude hurts this practice, and I would advise anyone to seek out a different doctor, not because he isn't good at what he does, (I honestly cannot speak to this,) but because actually getting in to see him is very challenging, especially considering the careless manner Rhonda sees fit to handle the patients of this practice.
