West Hills Village Apartments

Slum Lord Zone with the added bonus of criminal neighbors. One of which is this girl down on the far end that is known for drug use and violent behavior. Even after being arrested several times management still lets her stay there. She's drug skinny and has been seen meeting people in the parking lot in the middle of the night. She can't supervise either her kid or her dog. The dog runs loose and the kid screams bloody murder outside all the time, which causes her mother to scream right back. The people who just moved in diagonally from her aren't much better. The whole section knows about her and so does the do-nothing managers who must be hoping for a day in court with a hefty fine. If something needs to be repaired expect to wait months. If there's an issue be prepared to NOT have it addressed. They don't care who they let in or who is forced to pack up and move again. As long as they get that rent payment that's all they care about. Run away... run far away. Don't even think about applying. You'll regret it. Then again, if you're a criminal you'd probably love it there.

West Hills Apartments are really good apartments yes they are older they are doing their best to Update them.i have almost lived herea year, and I have met some really cool people, and met ones that cause a lot of drama for others and management, those people are trash nothing but mean unhappy people that wanna cause problems. These apartments are good, older yes. But the management is professional and nice. They fix problems when it comes to the apartment,fast, nice, professional and always with a smile. I plan on living here another year, cause it's safe, met some friendly people, rent is great, When I moved in the apartment was nice and clean,its close to everything I do in this area. Manager and his wife are good people and there are some really nice people that live here. These other reviews are made by sour mean hateful people that have nothing better to do with lives but complain..they complain cause they don't fit in with good people and they complain cause they got into trouble or broke the law, and then they get removed, which is the best way,specially if your trying to make it a good place for all. Plus I know others that will be staying on for 5 years or more. I'm please with these apartments and all they do to make it a wonderful place to live, thank you

Apartments From Hell - Since the new managers took over everything good that was done has now been undone. They will let anyone move in to make a profit now. The new managers do nothing and seem to be inexperienced. The police are there so often that they keep saying they're tired of coming. Fights, drugs and drunks, car thefts, children running rampant with foul mouths and peeking in windows, just about anything you can think of is allowed to go on there now. Last weekend, they allowed people who were drunk and high to move their stuff in down on the far end and blare their car horn non-stop, yell and cuss at each other, and wake the entire section up at 2 am beating up someone who came outside! Cops everywhere again. Apparently they don't bother to check new tenants out anymore. Just move in and make it a living hell for all the other tenants. At this rate the whole complex will have to be shut down and labeled a public nuisance. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague.

8=This place last year was a wonderful, peaceful and great place. The old manager tricia handled everything well.. they suddenly hired on a managment agency to work on filling the apartments. Now they filled it up with druggies, pot dealers, and kids that run loose and harass other kids. This place is like a high school with all the drama, rumors, lies and along with that the worst people.

I have lived on site for four years and I have witnessed this place transition into a wonderful place to live. A few years ago when the apartments were managed by Taylor Real Estate they allowed basically anyone move it. They didn't screen the applicants and as a result crime became an issue. The apartments themselves are unique and the grounds are breath taking but because of negligent tenants the complex's reputation suffered. Skip forward two years and now that the apartments are managed by the owners of the property and things are looking up. The management team is quick to respond to any issues. They are professional, consistent and always willing to go above and beyond. Last year they put in a 24 hour exercise room and a club house. This year they added a community garden. I can honestly say I have only seen improvement here. Crime is no longer an issue. Residents are extremely friendly and always willing to help out their neighbors. There is an air of community here which is almost impossible to find these days. I love it here!

When my family moved it, the apartment we were supposed to move into was infested with cockroaches and we were forced to live crammed into a 1 bedroom apartment for 2 months while they tried to get rid of them. then they moved us into an apartment that had previously had the ceiling fall in from rain in the bedrooms. We also had a window broken in our car then it was set on fire, after which, we were given to the end of the day to get it towed, except they had it moved at our expense while i was at school that day and my wife was trying to find an affordable towing company. These apartments should be condemned. Do not move in here.

Terrible place to live. Get worse than what you pay for, and it is already cheap (but price increases have been happening lately). Neighbors are very noisy, with the bass being played through the midnight hour. Neighbors also seem to get frequent visits from the Salem police. Residents do not feel safe in some areas of the complex.
