Honestly! What I would is the store it self is kept pretty clean! The workers on the other hand can be found half of the time either eating at the register, talking on the phone to family and friends, away from the register or outside smoking! The woman's bathroom stays semi clean and the men's is usually filled with urine smell and pee on the seat! The locals are accepting of women and like minded trash but instigate violence with cleaner cut individuals! Workers do seem to go with the violent flow when aggression ever takes place toward an individual! There are only 4 pumps and people will usually try to cut you off and race in front of you to get in to the pump! There are no clearly posted mission statements or policy and or warnings for anything including clearly posted procedure. There are to few parking spaces and if you park directly in front of the store it drains your gas tank to start your vehicle up, because of the steep incline in the front row parking! There does seem to be a problem with locals and the use and trade of drugs at night in the parking lot. The lower scale crowd seems to have a bit of sway over the cleaner cut non instigating crowd. Works again seem to have a silent agreement to reinforce the behavior to benefit the store in sales and not quality of consumers. And sometimes gas runs out on 87 or special. Also gas is sometimes lowest here but mostly one of the highest priced in the area. Also the line formation is incorrect in my opinion they have the hess thing going on that starts fights in line among customers. Ware they all file in to one line to merely shave seconds off of standing time! I think if they marked the ground with a line on both registers put a REAL divider instead of using interim measure and using a snack shelf to divide people it would provide more structure. Personally i think i could manage this place better but i'm not the manager! And since the recession all kinds of unqualified individuals and under skilled workers and mangers seem to flood the work force.. That's my opinion! My opinion is iv'e seen safer more professional workers and management in many places iv'e worked in and feel on this end things could be done much better. Especially with budgeting a very aggressive crowd with many unspoken rules that seem to lash out allot. I don't know if the word for the crowd here is unbalanced or what but i watch the sheriffs website instead of TV some nights and lots of drug calls. So since iv'e never really had the displeasure of the atmosphere this place can project ill have to rate it a 1 star because i can't rate it a 1.5 and 2 would be to kind in my opinion. Just leave it alone unless it's the only alternative because the dare i say inbred locals get along better with them selves then obstanding member of society. I mean i go to marathon up the road or sunoco never have the aggression i get from the crowd here or anywhere else at all for that matter! 1.5 because of the 75 cent fountain drinks by the way!
