After another local shop took advantage of me and charged me $100 to tell me my motherboard was fried and I'd need a new computer, I went to Kirk for a second opinion. He looked at it for free and knew he could fix the problem for $40. I was ecstatic to get my computer back the next day in working order! He has gained another faithful customer.

Kirk was in my store purchasing something. I asked him what he did for a living, and we began talking computers. He took a look at the one on our front counter because I complained it was running slow, and was worried about Windows XP virus vulnerability. He assured me the only thing we needed was a vacuum (it was dirty) and some RAM. The next morning he showed up at the store and installed a stick of memory for us. He took an espresso drink from our coffee bar as payment. A truly old-fashioned ethical businessman in a competitive rip-off economy.

I actually did not find what I was looking for, but the service was excellent. Even though there was no sale to be made (I called first), I will definitely go there in the future because it was clear to me that they were interested in helping.

Highly recommended. He's the fastest, cheapest, and nicest around.
