        Self-Praise Revisited

        We walked in and were impressed by the praise on the walls and in the menu (the self praise). Unfortunately the dining experience fell short. My granddaughter didn't like the Mickey Mouse pancakes, the waiting serve time was excessive, one wait staff dropped the chicken on the floor and it took 30 minutes to replace, the salad was served 3/4 of the way through the meal, the fish (walleye) tasted fishy, etc.

        Keys Caf & Bakery wants its guests to enjoy the food they grew up with. The restaurant s location in White Bear Lake, Minn., is one of seven Keys Caf & Bakeries throughout the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Other locations include restaurants in the Minnesota communities of Roseville, Woodbury and Spring Lake Park. Keys Caf , which first opened for business in 1973 in St. Paul, Minn., was the only location until the second spot opened in New Brighton, Minn., in 1983. Keys Caf & Bakery has received several awards, such as Best Breakfast USA from Bon Appetite Magazine and Best Comfort Food from Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine. The company serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. In addition, Keys Caf also provides catering for banquets, parties, picnics and other social gatherings.
