        Tom Murray Monument Co. was founded by Thomas J. Murray at its present location in the West Florissant Ave. cemetery district on Nov. 23, 1945, where it has served thousands of satisfied customers throughout the St. Louis metro area for their monument and memorialization needs, as well as custom items. Of the five original monument companies listed in the 1955 Granite Cutters Journal and located on West Florissant Ave, only Tom Murray Monument is still in operation today.

        My name is Gloria D. Davison, this company worked with me on monthly payments that would fit my budget for my sons headstone. They did not set my monthly payments, they let me set it. Everything that they said they would do, they did it. The date of setting the headstone was given after I made my final payment. I went by two days after the scheduled date, and it was in place. The headstone is excellent, everything that I ask for it was complete. I am late posting this, my son passed way in 2012, headstone was in place the following year.

        DO NOT WORK WITH THEM

        They were nice as the business first started and when I wrote them a check for over half the money that was due. But after that they were a**holes. They promised to lay the headstone by a certain date and they didn't. So I was promised another date and they didn't deliver on that day neither. Neither times no one called me directly and told me. I had to call them. If you want your money and emotions played with, deal with them. If not, go somewhere else.

        Since this person has not provided a valid name for this complaint, it is difficult to respond to this. I have no control over the cemeteries time frames of when foundations are completed only estimates, and the clients know this when they sign the contract.
