Dr. DuMontier has special interests in obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery, contraception management, adolescent gynecology as well as management of abnormal uterine bleeding. The most rewarding part of the obstetrics and gynecology specialty is providing answers and reassurances to patients regarding their medical concerns. "My goal is to listen, partner and guide each patient through what can sometimes seem like a very impersonal and intimidating experience," Dr. DuMontier says. As a general obstetrician and gynecologist, she does this every day whether it is reassuring a woman during her pregnancy or diagnosing and treating the cause of abnormal bleeding. She believes that quality care is listening to the patients and not only addressing their primary concerns but also providing them with the necessary information and tools to live a healthy life.
