Wish I could give them zero stars. Run as fast as you can away from this place! Pushy and disrespectful. Would not prescribe, wanted us to see all their other departments. Ya to make more money! Dr. messenger is rude.

Not happy the way my mother was talked to here by the doctor. Very disrespectful. Going somewhere else.

Determined to take you off any meds you are on. I have severe arthritis problems and pain from a car accident years ago. 5 years ago a muscle relaxer I was put on helped about 75% with the pain. I was thrilled, but this doctor would not prescribe it. He also took me off my antidepressant. Tried to take me off my Gerd meds as well. Several of the staff as well as Dr. Messenger were quite rude as well. I prefer to go to a doctor with a good bed side manner. I also prefer to be able to use a medication if I truly have a need for it. Especially one that is non addicting. This place wanted me to see their diet staff as well as their counselor. I am 52 years old, I have seen all the counselors I need in my life. I do not appreciate being pushed into supporting their extra services. Trying Sparrow Associates next month, I hear that they are much friendlier. Dr. Messenger spoke rude to me every time I saw him and once in front of my 16 y/o son. Enough. Dee Lynn Jones Mitchem

Since CCMC has expanded, I'm begining to feel more like a number than a patient . I also feel that my personal information is NOT proctected as you go to an open window (with people behind you & on the side of you) to check in where you are asked each time about address and insurance. Another area of concern is when you are asked to sign your name to a sheet of paper hanging outside the lab door so anyone that signs in after you can read your name. I consider this to be a violation of my protected health information. It would seem that when you see a different nurse/doctor that they do not have your medications correctly in the computer and you are asked the same questions that should of been documented the first time. They really push their counselors on you with the threat that your medicaitons won't be refilled unless you talk to one of their counselors first. I refused as I do not like being bullied into seeing a counselor. If I need one I'll set up an appt at my discretion and it may not be with your facility. Being a pretty healthy, mentally sound 49- year-old woman I have never been a drug seeker but made to feel just that when I go in for refills. I get there is a lot of abuse out there and maybe these are new "rules" but found it very condesending. Another complaint is that nobody there seems to be on the same page and coordination of care is very poor. I had one doctor pushing an antidepressant on me for hot flashes! This antidepressant was one that I weaned myself off over 3 years ago and thought I would need rehab to do it..it was that BAD. Also I noticed that when I had trouble sleeping I was automatically put on the highest dose possible when they should of started me on the lowest dose and then moved from that point. So now I'm trying to wean myself again to a more reasonable dose. Another doctor stated to me that the drug I requested to help my daughter with her severe panic attacks "made his skin crawl." As a mother watching your daughter suffer makes my skin crawl. All in all I have been increasingly unhappy with the service, the grilling questions and the lack of privacy I feel when entering the facility. The walls are so thin I could give you the patient's history next to me! Another incident that comes to mind is a few visits back I saw a NP who began to argue with me about my responses to her questions. She said I was contradicting myself..It was more that she was not LISTENING to my responses. I had to tell her that this wasn't the case and had to restate my response so that she could understand. I'm an adult not a child. My doctor appts have become more of a grill session then coordination of care. I'll even go out a limb and say they just want more money by pusing their counseling associates. Boo on you CCMC. One positive note that I will add is that when my 2 children came down with severe pneumonia last Summer, Dr. Messenger was excellent as were a few of the NP staff. I give 5 stars for the treatment my children received but since that time have become very disillsuioned with CCMC. I think they got too big for their britches and the quality of care I received 5 years ago is not even comparable to what I got the last few visits! I'm going to make one more appt to get a yearly routine procedure out of the way and then will start the process of finding a new doctor.

This is the best place in town to go for healthcare! I love Dr. Messenger! I also love that I can have all my tests in one location and that I don't have to go to the hospital! The staff is amazing! I had to have lab work, a mammogram and an ultrasound the other day and I could have them all done back to back right after my appt. with Dr. Messenger! That is a huge plus for me because I didn't have to come back another day and take time off of work. They got me in and out of the office in an hour! That is amazing! How many other places can do that? And the girl that drew my blood, Jessica was really good. It didn't hurt a bit! I hate needles! And the ultrasound tech., Heather was so kind and compassionate! I loved her! Sharon their xray tech who did my mammogram was so awesome! It did not hurt a bit when she did my mamm. And this was my first one ever and I had heard that they hurt. I had been putting off getting one and it was a piece of cake thanks to Sharon! I can't say enough nice things about the staff at this office! I will be going back forever! And telling all my family and friends to go here! You will not be disappointed with this office at all! A++++++
