Absolutely horrible. #1: my daughter ordered the hibachi chicken & she found a bone while chewing!! #2: My son ordered PLAIN noodles, they first charged us $15.95!! When I told the waitress our ticket must have been wrong, she said no. I complained & she changed it to $6.95!! Which is absolutely stupid because a side of rice was $2.95. I will never eat here again!!! For a family of 4 to eat it was $70.00!!! Very disappointed!
We were here visiting on vacation with our children. We love Japanese! But, this restaurant was expensive for the quality of the food! The cook was very entertaining and the restrooms were clean that's why they got 3 stars!

I have lived in Saint Augustine for several years now and I’m honest and proud to say that Mikato is the best hibachi and sushi restaurant in town yet this place has excellent hospitality and friendly owner down to staffs.
This place can get packed sometimes and you will know why because the quality of services and best quality of foods in town that people are rush to get in.
My family has been going to Mikato for many many times and it has never been wrong or disappointed. The quality of food is always excellent and freshness of sushi is awesome. The sushi chef does amazing job with making all sorts of dishes for customers.
We will definitely keep going back there.
This is my number one choice when dining out. The food is excellent and the chef cooking at your table is a real treat. Excellent food, excellent service, you can't go wrong here.

- We offer a great grilling solution for people who love the taste of charcoal grilled foods but either don't have a lot of space or like to take their grill on the road. A good cast iron Hibachi can do about anything a full size grill can do except grill a lot of food. The advantage of a real fire, portable size, and hot direct cooking make them a popular type of grill. Hibachi grills come in different sizes, shapes, and configurations. The cheaper hibachis can be a problem because they tend to rust and fall apart. If you want to get a good hibachi I suggest paying a little more and getting a good solid cast iron one. Cheaper cast aluminum hibachis aren t worth it. Some hibachis have racks that can be adjusted in height. This gives you versatility when it comes to grilling by allowing you to adjust how close the food is to the heat. The problem is that many of these style hibachis are also poorly made. Particularly if you intend to take you hibachi traveling you will want one that is sturdy and able to handle being transported a lot. Look for good construction in a hibachi.
