Sacramento Dental Arts

This may be the worst dental practice in the city. I can't think of a thing they did well. It's virtually impossible to get through to them: either their mailbox is full or you stay on hold for twenty minutes. They lose and confuse appointments and blame the client. They are rude and unfriendly. They switch dentists on the client with no warning and different dentists give different advice. I saw three dentists to have one procedure done. Then I got told that I shouldn't come back for awhile because they had spent so much time and money on treating me. They also withhold information so that patients have to make uninformed decisions ahd they are misinformed about benefits. I'm an attorney so I knew how to argue with them and it turned out I was right all along about my benefits, but they insisted they understood the plan and hid more economical options from me. I can't imagine what could happen to a less educated, more timid patient!



Find any other dentist; they all have their issues, but these people are dangerous.

I agree fully with the first review. This office has put my child in danger in the sence that they turned her away for a highly anticipated root canal and she was in pain from the last "Root Canal, which did not consist of a cap or anything involved with a root canal, but the cost was right on target> They tured us away because we were 12 minutes late.The first time I went there I was threatened by the front desk staff, not to mention the numerous time we were reschduled because of there error. I am researching more into this proble because I think I was tricked into getting some services that were not needed. I ordered copies or her xrays etc and will have action taken against this particular Dentis. Please anyone email me so I can get you story to add to my complaint.

I would not in any way recommend this office. The front office staff were very rude. They "lost" our appointment more than once. I left several messages without getting return phone calls for more than 6 weeks. The first dentist we saw there said my daughter had several cavities so we needed to make another appointment, when we came back for the second appointment it was a different dentist seeing her and he said her teeth were fine. When we tried to schedule a follow-up visit the front office staff told me there was a problem with my insurance so when I called my insurance company they said the dental office waited more than a year to file my claim so it was denied (the limit for an office to file a claim is one year). I have never had so many difficulties with a dental office before nor have I ever been treated so rudely!
