Golden Corral Restaurants

That has to be one of the most disgusting stores I've ever been in. They have the audacity to charge you the money for the food that you don't get and Service you don't get it I was appalled that the service and what a little amount of food to had out . It was asked me if the food is good there I'd have to tell him no don't ever go thank you for hearing me. GOD bless you all. Sincerely Eric

Went on Saturday 1pm 2 enjoy anytime breakfast. What a bust. 1st I was charged the dinner price $13.74,and told dinner on Saturday s begin @ 11 am. WHAT? Excuse me,WHO SERVES DINNER @ 11am. OK well I at best can have the highly advertised BREAKFAST served all day @ Golden Corral right? WRONG! After searching the place 4 breakfast items THERE IT IS MR STANLEY! in a wee corner hidden by the fish tray 4 thin as a dime tiny undone stick n 2 the bottom of the tray pan-things. Pick n up the tongs 2 attack a full tray of bacon,that's exactly what I got 1 massive tray size monster of cold cement taste n bacon. The so called sausages tasted like those veggie meats the vegans try 2 feed U "hey try it,it taste just like veggies masquerading as meat.I tried 2 pour the bottle labled MAPLE SYRUP on 2 the pan-things & with a slight tip of the bottle the whole thing emptied on 2 my plate.I asked 4 a tray & was told in Martian speak " trays are not allowed at the tiny baby sized tables. All in all though I had a great conversation s with my co diners sit n @ other tiny baby tables because U r sit n so close U fill like part of the family. OH YEAH IT WAS A GREAT DAY AT ELK GROVE GOLDEN CORRAL.

Skip it. Don't go. I first enjoyed a Golden Corral meal in Atlanta, GA. I thought I died and gone to heaven. Fresh beef cooked to order with the grill man standing the grill. Green beans done three different ways. Potatoes whipped, braised, baked, fried, sweet potatoes, turkey, chicken my oh my thought was in that great Smorgasbord in the sky. Desserts were still in the pie plates and cake platters, enough to fill to pool tables. mmmm...mmmm. This was in 2005 and every Golden Corral I tried in the South was the same caliber. Got back home and started looking for one on the West coast. The only one in Calif was over 200 mi away, so when one opened within 120 miles I could not wait. First time was 2011 and was I disappointed. The din of the music and patrons was deafening (the music was sedate in GA, the people could talk in quite whispers at their table). The meat was over cooked and dried out, no where near the choice of in the South. The dessert was in a carnival atmosphere. I tried again in 2012 and could not finish my meal. This buffet is not a one star...it has no where near the class of the ones back South. Go to Hometown Buffet, better food though very crowded.
