        Larry and Barbara Chalmers, the owners of SouthShore Bait & Tackle, met while working with the Tampa Tribune and began this exciting journey just a short time thereafter. Coming from humble beginnings and learning the meaning of hard work at an early age has made this bait and tackle center what it is today. Larry, who was in the Navy and is a lifelong fisherman and Barbara, who grew up running an amusement business with her family have made sure that they are "hands on" with every aspect of their business. So chances are if you were to stop by, day or night, you would see one of these two people behind the counter or out on the floor. SouthShore Bait & Tackle has commited themselves to the highest level of customer service in the bedrock of the Ruskin family outdoor community.
