Phillips Monuments

On our contract it states that future lettering is not included, meaning final dates.At the time of purchase we do not charge you for final dates because we do not know what the charge will be or don't know if we would still be able to do it at the time of the persons death. You would have to come in at that time and purchase your final date. Why charge you for something that is not completed? You could check anywhere but all monument companies are the same.

They have not placed the date of death on my grandmother’s stone and she has been gone for 3 years. I called and they told me it would be done in 2 weeks. I sent my brother to check the stone 3 weeks later and it still has not been done. They are not trustworthy to finish the job. I am scared that when my Grandfather dies it his will never be updated.

I paid these guys in 2000, for a job that has not been finished yet. (June 2010) The job is to finish (put a date of death) engraving a Head Stone. Mother died in 2000. Father died in 2008. They were paid in full in 2000. Now I can't even get them to answer the phone. So I'm going to have to drive 175 miles (one way), to try and find out what the problem seems to be. I suggest you take your business else where.
