Business Disputes
The types of business disputes we typically handle disputes between an employer and a former employee, between former "partners", or between competitors. We handle cases between employers and former employees involving restrictive covenants, covenants not to compete, and non-solicitation covenants. We handle business divorce cases between former "partners". We handle cases between competitors involving trademark disputes, unfair advertising, and other types of disputes. Workers Compensation
You must obtain worker’s compensation insurance if you have more than 2 employees. It is dangerous to rely on the notion that your employees are "independent contractors" and thus you are not required to obtain workers compensation insurance. An independent contractor typically is paid by the job, and has control over the time, place, and manner of performing his function. A painter you sign a contract with to paint your house is a typical independent contractor. A secretary, administrative assistant, or other staff person in your office is typically not an independent contractor.

Property Damage
(11) PHOTOGRAPHS OF INJURIES OR PROPERTY DAMAGE. If you have any photographs, please mail or deliver the prints to my office. Please retain the negatives in the event we need to make enlargements. It is important that if you are in the hospital, photographs are taken of you in your disabled condition. Please notify my office I will attempt to see that photographs or a video tape is taken of you in the hospital or during physical therapy.

Personal Injury
The handling of a personal injury case typically begins with the first call to our office. Typically the injured person or a family member is calling a lawyer for the first time in their life. Frequently they have been referred to our office by an existing client. During the first call we will focus on three main areas of inquiry, liability, damages, and coverage. During this call we are attempting to evaluate whether there is a potential claim that justifies an in office meeting.
Medical Malpractice
We handle the following types of personal injury cases: automobile accident cases, slip and fall cases, medical malpractice cases, and product liability cases.
Social Security Disability
If you are now or have ever been a party or involved in any other legal action or claim including but not limited to a mediation, arbitration, worker's compensation claims, social security disability claims, and insurance claims, identify the individual or entity before which the action or claim pended or is pending, the date the action or claim was initiated, whether you initiated the action or claim and provide any identifying numbers associated with the action or claim.
